  • PRME Chapter India Meet 2024, held on December 5-6, 2024, at SPJIMR Mumbai. The event focused on crucial themes like "Life, Livelihood, Lifestyle, Life Choices: Thinking Alternatives" and "Lived Knowledge Systems: Mainstreaming Alternate Narratives. Centre for Sustainability reached the finalist for Faculty Excellence Awards, part of this engaging dialogue, continuing our commitment to sustainability, social impact, and responsible management education.

  • GLBIMR students explored BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting) with insights from Mr. Anand Rawani, CFA on 3rd December 2024. From filing BRSR reports to analyzing sustainability practices of giants like HUL and Nestlé, students gained actionable knowledge to integrate sustainability into modern business practices.

  • The 3rd Annual ESG Conclave, held on November 20, 2024, at GL Bajaj Institute of Management & Research (GLBIMR), Greater Noida, centered on the theme “Empowering SDGs through NGOs: Key Agents for Sustainable Development”. This impactful event emphasized the role of NGOs in advancing sustainability through innovative partnerships with corporations and academic institutions.

  • Centre for Sustainability organized a book donation initiative to Village Khulipura, Greater Noida on 28th October 2024. Along with the book donation the center aims to establish a community library to promote literacy in the area.

  • Centre for Sustainability, GLBIMR organized a 'Digital Poster Competition' on the focal Theme - "AI-driven Sustainable Solutions". Students were asked to submit digital poster and concept note about the selected theme. Students participated with full zeel in the contest and 1st Prize was received by team Anushka Sinha (PGDM 24130) & Lavi Chaudhary (PGDM 24020), 2nd Prize was won by team Pratiksha Singh (PGDM 24242) & Ankit Maurya (PGDM 24809) and 3rd Prize was won by Vidushi Mittal (PGDM 24459) & Somya Raj (PGDM 24577).

  • Faculty and students attended 18th national convention of UNGC at hotel Ashok on 23rd February 2024. Deliberations covered the ambitious goals set for 2030 to GAIL's commitment to net zero emissions by 2040, the urgency of immediate action against climate change was emphasized. Proactive steps like adopting Compressed Biogas (CBG) and hydrogen-blended gas, alongside efforts for water positivity and biodiversity conservation was also part of the deliberation. Delving into sustainable finance, it was identified that a $4.37 trillion investment opportunity, highlighting the need for innovative financing mechanisms is there in Asian region.   • National Productivity Council, under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, and Greater Noida Productivity Council, Greater Noida organized Productivity Week in Greater Noida in collaboration with GLBIMRs Global Human Resource & Organization Development Centre (GHRODC), and Centre for Sustainability. To celebrate the occassion a Debate Competition on the theme “Artificial Intelligence for Renewable Energy Solutions” was organized on 16th February, 2024. Click Here
  • Inter-College Debate Competition and Panel Discussion on the theme "PRODUCTIVITY, GREEN GROWTH, AND SUSTAINABILITY" in collaboration with National Productivity Council, New Delhi, Greater Noida Productivity Council, Greater Noida and Global Human Resource & Organization Development Centre (GHRODC) at GLBIMR.
